Our first ICC A team match of the season is coming up on Saturday 28th September against our local rivals West Sussex at our home venue Grovelands. This the first of 6 matches in our group, with Surrey and Kent also joining our group.
Housekeeping
Dress code is county shirt and black trousers for male players or black skirt, crops or trousers for the female players. NO JEANS, CARGO TROUSERS OR SHORTS as per current ESMBA regulations.
Tea and coffee will be available and players will need to bring a cup and packed lunch as there are no food facilities available. Grovelands is also a no smoking site (including vapes) which cover the building, the grounds and car park. There will also be a raffle being run that is £1 for a strip of tickets.

Results
East Sussex A were victorious in their first match of the season with the final score of 30 – 10. The shots scored were 203 to 173 in East Sussex’s favour. There were many tight games and some great performances from all four disciplines. Two players, Mel Woodhams and Mark Stonestreet, made their county debuts. Team manger, Mandy Moore said the team had done East Sussex proud and shown great camaraderie and team work.
Thank you to everyone who assisted in setting up and also packing everything away, ensuring we were able to finish on time. We now look ahead to our next fixture, home v Kent A next Saturday.
